The Greenwood Lecture

Steve Cowan and Sir John Cave-Browne-Cave

After a delicious lunch, Steve introduces Sir John as our guest speaker.  Sir John is not only a BC branch member but also the secretary of the Vancouver branch.

Sir John begins his very enjoyable talk on his family history, which goes back about eight hundred years.  He mentioned that, since his family has almost always been well established, he had no difficulty in finding reliable information, unlike the experience of most family historians.  The evolution of his arms was particularly interesting.
